Con el recibimiento tributado esta tarde por uno de los clubes más importantes del mundo, el Real Madrid, a la adolescente palestina Ahed Tamimi, a quien le regalaron una camiseta con su nombre y fue recibida por las más altas autoridades de la institución, pone en claro de qué lado está el club.
Sabemos que este tipo de decisiones (evidentemente políticas) no se toman sin el aval del gobierno.
Para aquellos que no lo saben, debemos decir que Ahed Tamimi viene de cumplir una condena de ocho meses de prisión en Israel por agredir con golpes y escupitajos, entre otras cosas, a soldados de las Fuerzas de Defensa israelí.
A raíz de esto, y por intermedio del BDS y otros medios periodísticos afines, fue tomada como ícono de la resistencia palestina «ante la ocupación».
Cuando decimos «¿De qué lado está el club?», nos referimos al conflicto del Estado de Israel con el grupo terrorista Hamas, que gobierna Gaza y tambien está enfrentada con la Autoridad Palestina, aunque es cierto que el enemigo en común es Israel.
Es muy bueno que se vaya aclarando el panorama, ya que en los últimos meses y desde la decisión de Estados Unidos de trasladar su embajada a Jerusalén , seguido por algunos países y otros que lo están analizando, se ha profundizado la división entre los que creen y apoyan a un estado civilizado y democrático, y aquellos que consideran que un grupo terrorista es el que tiene la razón.
Podemos discutir la ideología política del gobierno de Netanyahu, y estar de acuerdo o no, pero donde no hay discusión posible es sobre la paciencia, la tolerancia y querer llegar a una solución pacífica desde siempre de un estado, contra la agresión, el terrorismo, las bombas y los atentados que emerge desde el otro.
Recibir a Tamimi es casi un desafío a Israel.
Como se hizo en otros tiempos en la región con Ahmadinejad. O en algunos países de Europa con la apertura al fundamentalismo islámico.
Uno elige de qué lado está. Sos frío o sos caliente. A los tibios los vomita el diablo. El problema surge cuando al diablo lo tenés en tu país, como le pasó a España (por ahora la Rambla en Barcelona sigue siendo española), como le pasó a Francia o como pasó (y lo que nos duele) acá en Argentina.
Solo tenés que elegir y atenerte a las consecuencias. Después no digas que no te avisé.
