Tres jóvenes pertenecientes al programa Nuevas Generaciones del Congreso Judío Latinoamericano viajaron a Bruselas para capacitarse en temas de diplomacia y divulgación. Allí participaron de un encuentro con Ronald Lauder y Robert Singer (Presidente y CEO del Congreso Judío Mundial, respectivamente) y estuvieron en una ceremonia de conmemoración del Día del Holocausto con el Presidente del Parlamento Europeo.
El encuentro, llamado “Proyecto Diplomacia”, tuvo una duración de dos días, en las cuales se buscó brindarles a los jóvenes profesionales las herramientas necesarias para avanzar en la agenda diplomática del Congreso Judío Mundial.
Los «diplomáticos judíos” (llamados JDs), escucharon las presentaciones de los embajadores y otros diplomáticos de Austria, Bulgaria, Hungría e Israel, que participan en las conversaciones con dos destacados periodistas con sede en Bruselas, y se reunieron con el jefe de protocolo del Consejo de la Unión Europea.
“Este tipo de encuentros son realmente muy enriquecedores, no sólo por la valiosa capacitación que recibimos, sino también por la oportunidad de poner en práctica los conocimientos y habilidades que vamos adquiriendo”, expresó el argentino Gabriel Buznik, quien participó representando a Latinoamérica junto a Elisa Trota (Arg) y Samuel Dresel (Uy).
