Según relataron cuando hicieron una parada para almorzar «le dimos nuestros pedidos en un restaurante de pescado. Y una vez que el dueño del restaurante de alguna manera descubrió que somos judíos, dejó en claro que no iba a servir la comida a los judíos, y comenzó a maldecir a la Torá. Después de las palabras antisemitas, perdió el control y cogió una herramienta peligrosa y empezó a atacarnos. Empezamos a correr por nuestras vidas».
A pesar de la gravedad del ataque, las víctimas de este hecho antisemitas dijeron que pudieron escapar y salir «ilesos» y pudieron retornar a sus hogares.
