Bernardo Kononovich, director de la película «Salvar al niño», dialogó con VIS A VIS y comentó de qué se tratará el documental testimonial que se estrenará el próximo jueves en el cine Gaumont, y cuáles son sus expectativas con respecto a la película.
Kononovich, quién presenta el séptimo documental con esta temática del Holocausto, comentó acerca de que trata el film: «Salvar al niño cuenta la historia de tres mujeres, y cada una de ellas tiene una vinculación con un chico que hay que buscar durante la Shoa. Las historias son muy interesantes y abre preguntas sobre el posible re encuentro, que pasa con los chicos que fueron entregadas a familias polacas y que no saben que paso con ellos. Además de preguntarse sí tiene sentido buscar». El documental dura 60 minutos con dos cámaras, y allí Jacqueline Halbzajt, Judith Horvat y Diana Wang cuentan su historia de supervivencia
Kononovich remarcó que Halbzajt es la primera vez que cuenta su historia, y además agregó: «Esta película es la más minimalista que hice. No es un film de despliegue y movimiento a diferencia de Kadish. Es un documental del alma que busca que los espectadores se identifiquen con estas tres mujeres».
Por último resaltó : «Las demás películas fueron presentadas en ámbitos culturales, no tenían circulación en el cine a diferencia de Salvar al Niño. Lo del jueves a la noche es un lanzamiento y es muy importante que la gente la recomiende para que continúe en el cine. No es un evento comunitario meramente».
