Eva Eisenstaedt: «Yo quería visualizar a los padres porque las madres estaban muy presentes»

Eva Eisenstaedt, autora del libro «Padres de Plaza de Mayo» que será presentado hoy a las 19 horas en la Biblioteca Nacional, dialogó con VIS A VIS comentando de que se trata el libro y como fue testimoniar la historia de los padres que estuvieron junto a las madres y abuelas luchando para la aparición de sus hijos/nietos desaparecidos en la última Dictadura Militar.

La escritora del libro comentó que fue lo que la impulsó escribir este libro: «Yo quería visualizar a los padres porque las madres siempre estaban muy visibles alrededor de las pirámides. Mientras tanto los padres estaban ahí apoyando cuidado, luchando con ellas y haciendo gestiones», y además contó como fue el proceso de construcción de Padres de Plaza de Mayo: «Fue un proceso lento porque al principio los padres tenían cierta resistencia, no me conocían yo a ellos tampoco. Después de pasar cuatro años tomando testimonios fue difícil encontrar una editorial, pero finalmente editorial Marea lo sacó hace cuatro meses en la calle».

«Tomar testimonio nunca es fácil; ellos una vez que entran en confianza cuentan porque contar alivia. La relación que fuimos generando fue maravillosa y se fue acrecentando a lo largo del tiempo. Lamentablemente tres padres fallecieron en el ínterin», señaló Eisenstaedt. Por último la autora expresó sus sentimientos a horas de presentar su libro: «Yo estoy muy feliz porque le puedo devolver a los padres parte de este enorme esfuerzo que fue testimoniar una vez más, y ellos están felices de que el libro se haya concretado».
