El Congreso Judío Mundial se ha pronunciado en contra de cualquier publicación del libro de Adolf Hitler “Mi lucha”. A finales de 2015 expiran los derechos de autor, e historiadores esperan que después se pueda publicar una edición comentada.
Durante una reunión en Berlín, la junta directiva del Congreso Judío Mundial (CJM) hizo un llamado en contra de cualquier reedición de «Mi lucha». Esta obra, argumenta, fue la inspiración para el genocidio más grande en la historia de la humanidad y está plagada de antisemitismo. Aún en la actualidad, los neonazis y otros grupos racistas, en muchas partes del mundo, citan la obra, afirma.
Knobloch contra cualquier publicación
Charlotte Knobloch, ex presidenta del Consejo Central de los Judíos en Alemania y actual comisaria del CJM para la memoria del Holocausto, dijo estar estrictamente en contra de cualquier reedición legal, reproducción y difusión de “Mi lucha”, de Hitler, en Alemania. Asimismo, se pronunció en contra de cualquier edición comentada por científicos.
Desde hace años, el tema caldea los ánimos en Alemania. En toda Europa, los derechos de autor expiran 70 años después de la muerte del autor. En el caso de “Mi lucha” expiran a finales de 2015. Después, en principio, el libro podría ser impreso y difundido por cualquier persona.
En el verano, la Conferencia de Ministros de Justicia de Alemania decidió que se deberá proceder contra la publicación de esa obra en el marco de la reglamentación legal existente y que no se elaborará una ley especial. Los ministros no tomaron posición sobre una edición comentada.
Desde el año 2009, el Instituto de Historia Contemporánea (IFZ, por sus siglas en alemán), con sede en Múnich, elabora una versión histórica comentada. El Estado federado de Baviera, que ostenta los derechos de autor y de publicación de “Mi lucha”, le brinda apoyo financiero.
Después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Baviera había adquirido los derechos para impedir que copias de la obra y, con ello, la ideología nacionalsocialista se difundieran en Alemania y el exterior.
Derechos de autor expiran después de 70 años
En cuanto expiren los derechos de autor, los investigadores del renombrado Instituto de Historia Contemporánea pretenden publicar su trabajo. Si bien en Alemania se habla mucho sobre “Mi lucha”, hasta hoy día casi no existe un conocimiento fundado al respecto. Por ejemplo, faltan análisis sobre su creación, estructura, así como sobre el efecto que tuvo en su época.
El CJM exhortó a los responsables, editores y propietarios de librerías en Alemania a impedir la publicación del libro, así como de ediciones comentadas. Según el CJM, Alemania tienen una responsabilidad especial frente a las víctimas del Holocausto y debería enviar la señal de que un libro que insta al odio contra los judíos no se puede vender legalmente en el país.
