Inglaterra: Dos menores rompieron tumbas de un cementerio judío

Dos chicos de 13 años fueron sancionados por actos de vandalismo contra un cementerio judío en Manchester.

Los jóvenes tiraron y rompieron lápidas, que cayeron sobre las demás y las dañaron. La familia de cada uno de los atacantes deberá pagar 24 mil dólares.

El tribunal dijo que las acciones de los chicos fue «despreciable, cruel y horrible», y aunque ninguno de los dos dijo por qué se perpetró el acto, se dijo que los adolescentes eran antijudíos.

Graffitis antisemitas y esvásticas fueron pintadas en otra sección del cementerio, pero no hay confirmación de que los chicos hayan sido los responsables de las pintadas.

Uno de los dos adolescentes llevará una etiqueta electrónica y hará el trabajo de reparación del cementerio durante nueve meses, ya que tenía antecedentes penales pese a su corta edad.
