Justamente, el funcionario israelí no pudo reunirse con la embajadora en la ONU, Samantha Power, quien había coordinado un encuentro pero según explicaron no fue avisada a tiempo.
Además, fueron negadas las reuniones con el vicepresidente Joe Biden, el secretario de Estado John Kerry, y la Asesora de Seguridad Nacional, Susan Rice.
