AMIA lanzó el programa «Aprendiendo en Casa-HIPPY» en La Matanza

El martes 14 de abril, AMIA inauguró el ciclo 2015 del Programa “Aprendiendo en Casa – HIPPY” en el jardín comunitario “Rincón de Damián”, en el barrio Nicole de la localidad de Virrey Del Pino, partido de La Matanza.

En alianza con la Fundación Navarro Viola, AMIA extendió el alcance de su programa basado en el aprendizaje a través del juego a hogares del conurbano bonaerense, donde 80 familias forman parte de esta iniciativa que ayuda a padres de niños de 3,4 y 5 años a transitar una inserción escolar exitosa.

En la inauguración del ciclo, las familias participantes recibieron el material didáctico con el que trabajarán a lo largo del año, y conocieron al equipo de tutoras que guiarán la tarea.

El Programa “Aprendiendo en Casa” se inició en la Argentina en el año 2009 como un proyecto del Departamento de Programas Sociales de AMIA para ayudar a fortalecer la capacidad de los padres para involucrarse en la educación de sus hijos, a través de la capacitación que reciben de otros padres en su rol de tutores.

La tarea se apoya en materiales educativos, libros de cuentos y juguetes. Las actividades incluidas en los materiales educativos fueron diseñadas de acuerdo con el nivel de desarrollo de los niños, culturalmente adaptadas a su contexto y organizadas de modo que los padres dediquen 15/20 minutos por día a realizarlas con sus hijos en su propio hogar por medio del juego/aprendizaje. Las tutoras visitan semanalmente a los padres en su hogar para capacitarlos, utilizando la técnica del “rol playing”, en la utilización de los materiales entregados.

Durante el primer año de implementación del programa, AMIA realizó su experiencia piloto con familias atendidas por el Servicio Social de la institución y otras entidades comunitarias.

Hoy el programa consta de dos modalidades: “Aprendiendo en casa AMIA” y desde 2011 se incorporó la modalidad “Aprendiendo en Casa en Barrios”. En el primer caso, las familias participantes son seleccionadas entre la población vinculada con la AMIA y con las distintas instituciones de la comunidad judía, mientras que en el segundo caso la identificación de los participantes se basa en los Centros de Primera Infancia  del gobierno porteño. La implementación de “Aprendiendo en Casa en Barrios” comenzó en Barracas y en el Bajo Flores, lugares que registran mayores niveles de pobreza.

“Aprendiendo en casa es un programa que apunta a construir ambientes de aprendizaje constructivos en ámbitos socialmente vulnerables», explica Nora Blaistein, directora del área de Programas Sociales de AMIA. «Pone al hogar, a los padres y a los niños en un lugar de valorización y estimulación respecto al saber que trae un impacto muy positivo en todos al poder ayudarlos a transitar con herramientas y recursos la etapa de la escolarización”, señala la directora. “Además, -agrega Blaistein- otro punto importante es que se reconoce a los padres como primeros maestros de sus hijos y el programa los apoya para que puedan desarrollar ese rol.

El programa que AMIA lleva adelante es parte de la red internacional HIPPY, que toma su nombre de la sigla que corresponde al nombre en inglés del Programa de Instrucción para Padres de Niños en Edad Preescolar (“Home Instruction Programe for Parents of Preschool and Youngsters”). Fue creado en Israel en 1969 por el Instituto de Investigación para la Innovación en Educación de la Universidad Hebrea de Jerusalén. El Programa de Argentina es el único en América Latina y ha sido adaptado en forma, lengua y contenidos al contexto nacional conservándose los principios y metodología básica de la red internacional.
