El Estado Islámico (ISIS, por sus siglas en inglés) decapitó a doce combatientes de facciones sirias opuestas a este grupo terrorista en el este de la región de Al Qalamún, fronteriza con el Líbano, según informó este jueves el Observatorio Sirio de Derechos Humanos.
La ONG cita el video del movimiento yihadista y señala que las víctimas fueron capturadas por los terroristas entre fines de mayo y principios de junio, durante los combates entre el ISIS y grupos sirios de tendencia islámica en Al Qalamún.
En un momento de la cinta, un miembro del ISIS dirige unas palabras al líder del Ejército del Islam, Zahran Alush, cuya organización está aliada a la red Al Qaeda: «Alush, estos son tus soldados, que fueron seducidos por tus mentiras, tus susurros y tus guiños».
Insta, asimismo, a las familias de Guta, región que rodea Damasco y adyacente a Al Qalamún, a que respondan a «la llamada de Dios». A continuación, degüellan a sus víctimas.
El yihadista también hace un llamamiento a los seguidores de Alush para que se arrepientan ante Dios.
El lunes pasado el ISIS difundió otro video donde muestra cómo asesinó al líder del Frente al Nusra, brazo armado de Al Qaeda en Siria, al que tenía capturado en la provincia de Raqqa, en el noreste de Siria.
Abde al Bara al Iraqi, uno de los máximos líderes de Al Nusra, fue decapitado con una espada en una plaza de la ciudad de Raqqa, el feudo del Estado Islámico, rodeado de decenas de ciudadanos, entre ellos niños.
Las decapitaciones por parte del ISIS se han vuelto frecuentes en el territorio sirio, donde suelen emplearlas como castigo para aquellos que luchan en su contra.
Esta organización terrorista proclamó hace casi un año un califato en zonas de Siria e Irak, donde ha tomado amplias partes del territorio.
