La novela «La cache», en la que Christophe Boltanski sigue los pasos de su prestigiosa familia judía, fue galardonada con el premio Femina de literatura francesa, otorgado por un jurado compuesto exclusivamente de mujeres.
Se trata de la primera obra de este periodista del semanario «Le nouvel observateur» en el que cuenta las peripecias de su familia tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
El premio Femina de novela extranjera recayó en la escocesa Kerry Hudson por «La couleur de l’eau».
La novela de Christophe Boltanski (1962), hijo del sociólogo Luc Boltanski y del artista Christian Boltanski, obtuvo siete votos en la segunda ronda del escrutinio del Femina, con lo que se alza así con el cuarto gran premio concedido en Francia.
El primero de ellos fue atribuido la semana pasada por la Academia Francesa a Hédi Kaddour por «Les prépondérants», mientras que Mathias Enard se hizo con el más prestigioso, el Goncourt, por «Boussole», una novela que relata sobre su infancia en la comunidad judía de El Cairo.
El Renaudot, entregado el mismo día y en el mismo lugar que el Goncourt, recayó en Delphine de Vigan por «D’après unes historie vraie».
