El Papa decidió convocar al juez Daniel Rafecas al Vaticano para participar de un coloquio a realizarse entre el 23 y 24 de noviembre, días después de que el magistrado quedara en el centro de la escena por un pedido público de remoción.
Destacados empresarios, políticos, artistas y periodistas firmaron el pasado miércoles un documento en el que advirtieron que era «un deber cívico reclamar la destitución» de Rafecas, «por manifiesta inconducta» al rechazar de plano la denuncia que había presentado el fiscal Alberto Nisman antes de aparecer muerto de un disparo en la cabeza.
Aunque el acercamiento venía gestándose hace un mes -cuenta Diario Perfil-, la invitación formal llegó ayer: el juez fue convocado oficialmente para viajar al Vaticano mediante una carta firmada por su canciller, Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo.
Rafecas fue invitado a participar de un coloquio sobre narcotráfico y crimen organizado que se llevará a cabo en Roma, donde habrá jueces, fiscales y especialistas en el tema. Por supuesto, la figura central será Francisco.
Cabe destacar que no se descarta que se realice una audiencia privada entre el magistrado y el Sumo Pontífice.
