El Presidente argentino mantuvo un encuentro este miércoles con líderes de la comunidad judía internacional de la que participó el Congreso Judío Mundial y el Congreso Judío Latinoamericano. La reunión tuvo lugar en el hotel The Mark de Manhattan, donde se encuentra alojado el mandatario. “Soy optimista en que la justicia pueda develar la causa de la muerte de Nisman”, dijo.
“La comunidad judía ha hecho aportes sumamente importantes en la construcción de la sociedad toda, y mi gobierno va a hacer todo lo posible para que esto continúe, como así también para preservar la convivencia en mi país”, expresó el Presidente Argentino, Mauricio Macri, ante unos 15 líderes judíos en su paso por Nueva York.

Los líderes judíos expresaron la necesidad de insistir en la colaboración de la República Islámica de Irán para que puedan ser indagados los sospechosos iraníes sobre los que pesa orden de captura internacional de Interpol, por su responsabilidad por el ataque terrorista contra la sede de AMIA.
En relación a la investigación por la muerte del fiscal Alberto Nisman, Macri expresó que a diferencia del caso AMIA, donde ya han transcurrido más de veinticuatro años, la muerte de Nisman ocurrió hace menos de dos. “Tengo fe en que esto se va a aclarar”, disparó.
Adrián Werthein, miembro del Congreso Judío Latinoamericano (CJL) y quien participó de la reunión, destacó “el apoyo de la comunidad judía al cambio de política internacional de la Argentina” y al nuevo lugar que Argentina ocupa en el mundo.
Del encuentro, que duró unos 50 minutos, participaron también Evelyn Sommer, Presidente del Congreso Judío Norteamericano y Ezequiel Kieczkier, del Congreso Judío Latinoamericano. Acompañaron al Presidente Macri el Secretario de Asuntos Estratégicos, Fulvio Pompeo, y el Subsecretario de Relaciones Exteriores, Gustavo Zlauvinen.
