El presidente de la Nación Mauricio Macri recibió en la Casa Rosada a los directivos de la Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina (AMIA), y del American Jewish Committe (AJC), en una audiencia en la que se abordaron temas de interés relacionados con la comunidad judía y la sociedad en general.
En el encuentro, en el que también se analizaron aspectos relevantes de la actualidad nacional e internacional, estuvieron presentes Leonardo Jmelnitzky, Presidente de AMIA; junto con el Director Ejecutivo de AJC, David Harris; y el director del Instituto Arthur y Rochelle Belfer para Asuntos Latinos y Latinoamericanos del AJC, Mario Fleck.
Ante la proximidad de Jánuca, Jmelnitzky obsequió al presidente de la Nación una Janukiá, el tradicional candelabro de nueve brazos que se enciende durante la celebración.
Al finalizar la reunión se compartieron deseos de paz, concordia y prosperidad ante el inicio del año 2017.
