Un terrorista palestino ha herido a tres israelíes -dos civiles y un policía- antes de ser abatido. El suceso ha tenido lugar en la calle Hagai de la Ciudad Vieja de Jerusalén, escenario de varios atentados desde octubre del 2015.
Todo empezó pasadas las tres de la tarde cuando un palestino, de 17 años, se abalanzó con un cuchillo contra dos ciudadanos israelíes, de 18 y 20 años, a los que hirió en la parte superior del cuerpo, según las autoridades locales. En la huída en una de las estrechas calles del Casco Antiguo y antes de morir por los disparos de los agentes que le perseguían, logró herir a un miembro de la Policía Fronteriza, de 23 años. Los tres israelíes, con heridas leves y moderadas, fueron trasladados al Hospital Hadassah Ein Kerem y Sharei Tsedek de la ciudad. El palestino procedía de la zona cisjordana de Nablús.
Poco después, el portavoz de la Policía, Micky Ronsenfeld, tuiteaba: «Ataque con apuñalamiento en la Ciudad Vieja, Jerusalén. Unidades de la Policía responden al ataque. Terrorista ha sido abatido.
