El ex presidente lo hizo acompañado de Miguel Angel Toma ex secretario de la SIDE. Invitado por las autoridades de la DAIA, quien fuera presidente de los argentinos desde el 2 de Enero del 2002 al 25 de Mayo del 2003, dijo al finalizar la reunión que: «agradezco a la DAIA la invitación, cambiamos opiniones y rememoramos cosas que no tenían que haber pasado en la Argentina y en este intercambio, enterarme de otras que uno no conoce»
Por su parte el ex Ministro del interior tambien agradeció » estar hoy acá con todos ustedes, me tocó durante el gobierno de Duhalde trabajar en una tema muy dramático para los argentinos como fue el atentado a la AMIA, y gracias a decisiones del entonces presidente pudimos generar las herramientas para poder avanzar y terminar con la impunidad del terrorismo en la Argentina»
Por su parte el Presidente de la DAIA afirmó que «es un día muy importante para la DAIA ya que estamos recibiendo a un ex presidente de todos los argentinos y protagonista activo de la sociedad política, y acompañado por el Dr.Miguel Angel Toma, otro protagonista, que trabajó en la causa por el atentado a la AMIA/DAIA y quien conoce tambien en profundidad ciertos temas que son de vital importancia para la sociedad argentina» . Durante el encuentro dialogamos acerca de las nuevas generaciones, la responsabilidad de trabajar para formar futuros dirigentes, la labor de la DAIA, la educacion en nuestro país, la discriminación y el antisemitismo.
A su vez, nos reafirmaron su compromiso para esclarecer los atentados contra la AMIA-DAIA y la Embajada de Israel.
