Algo se cocina en el 3D Innotech, el acelerador de tecnología de alimentos ubicado en Ramat Hasharon: se trata del InnoCake, un dispositivo automatizado que convierte una simple tarta en una réplica esculpida de cualquier imagen escaneada.
Este sistema fue creado en marzo de 2016 para conseguir una manera más económica de hacer tartas de lujo, esas que van desde los miles a los millones de dólares. El récord lo tiene un pastel con diamantes incrustados valorada en 75 millones de dólares y creada hace tres años por el diseñador británico Debbie Winghan para uno de sus clientes en Emiratos Árabes.
InnoCake viene a sustituir la laboriosa elaboración, reducir los tiempos de producción y el caro trabajo de repostería de los chefs con una combinación de tecnología vanguardista y una herramienta de 5 ejes.
“Tenemos la intención de adentrarnos en el mercado de productos de lujo”, explica su fundador Shai Bar Zev, quien confirma que esta máquina hace tartas que cuestan mucho dinero.
El ejecutivo dice que con el tiempo le gustaría ver InnoCake en los centros comerciales. Entrar, entregar una foto de cómo nos gustaría la tarta y después de hacer los recados recoger la obra maestra.
“No hay nada como esto”, comenta Bar Zev, que tiene los modelos de prueba de la máquina. Mientras continúa con el desarrollo, el empresario se dedica a hacer demostraciones del InnoCake en diferentes países del mundo en busca de inversores.
