Esta tarde desde las 16 y hasta las 21hs en Casa O’Higgins, ubicada en O’Higgins 2842 de CABA, comenzarán a despedir al periodista Marcelo Zlotogwiazda, quien falleció a los 61 años, luego de pelear contra un cáncer que, de todos modos, no le impidió trabajar hasta sus últimos días. Por lo pronto, «Zloto», como se lo conocía en los medios de Argentina, se despidió el jueves de su programa de radio El horno está para bollos (Radio Con Vos, de Buenos Aires) y posteó una imagen con una de sus hijas.
El periodista era cuñado del actual coordinador de Fútbol de Faccma Fabian Cabrera.

En el mes de Mayo estuvo en la inauguración de la biblioteca Amos Oz del hogar LeDor VaDor, fue uno de los invitados y dijo refiriéndose al escritor israelí: «pondero su compromiso político e intelectual» y destacó «el coraje para decir lo que pensaba ateníéndose a verse enemistado o quedar en minoría» (¿habrá sido una autoreferencia?)

En uno de sus posteos había escrito sobre sus orígenes «Mis cuatro abuelos judíos huyeron de Polonia mucho antes de que la invadieran los nazis,. Mi abuelo Miguel, a quien conocí y quise mucho, me contaba cómo eran perseguidos por polacos»
