Niños de Tanzania y Senegal del proyecto humanitario israelí pudieron conocer a la selección nacional Argentina, de acuerdo al sitio deportivo israelí One, un día antes del partido con Uruguay que la Albiceleste disputó en Tel Aviv.
El proyecto tiene como fin llevar a niños con afecciones cardíacas de todo el mundo, pero especialmente del continente africano, hacia el Centro Médico Wolfson de la ciudad de Holon para cirugías vitales para su salud.
Silvan Adams, el filántropo canadiense detrás del proyecto “Salva el corazón de un niño” fue el responsable de llevar a los pequeños con los argentinos.
“El pueblo judío está trabajando para salvar vidas en todo el mundo. Estoy orgulloso de liderar junto con los mejores médicos en Israel este proyecto inusual de operaciones vitales de corazón”, dijo Adams al respecto.
El encuentro se realizó en el hotel Hilton de Tel Aviv, a donde la selección nacional argentina llegó desde Arabia Saudita donde se enfrentaron a Brasil el pasado viernes. Los jugadores conocieron los pormenores del proyecto y convivieron con los pequeños, quienes recibieron camisetas y balones firmados de los argentinos.
