Continúa la búsqueda del terrorista que ayer (martes) asesinó al sargento Amit Ben Yigal, quien fue enterrado anoche. Hoy, manifestantes palestinos arrojaron piedras, cócteles molotov y explosivos contra combatientes de las FDI, que arrestaron a un hombre en la aldea palestina al-Fawar debido a que estaba planeando llevar a cabo un ataque terrorista. Uno de los soldados resultó levemente herido y un alborotador de 14 años murió en los enfrentamientos.
Las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) continúan la búsqueda del terrorista que arrojó un gran bloque de mármol contra el sargento Amit Ben Yigal, quien murió después en el hospital Rambam, en Haifa. Ayer (martes), el soldado fue enterrado, y hoy se reanudaron los enfrentamientos entre el Ejército y violentos manifestantes palestinos en Judea y Samaria.
Los enfrentamientos se produjeron durante esta madrugada en la aldea palestina Yaabed, donde el soldado Ben Yigal fue asesinado. En el lugar, violentos manifestantes palestinos arrojaron piedras contra los combatientes.
Las tropas israelíes también ingresaron a la aldea Al-Fawar, ubicada al sur de Hebron. Allí, los soldados arrestaron a algunos sospechosos, y un grupo de terroristas palestinos comenzó a atacar a los combatientes de las FDI, que respondieron a la agresión con medios de dispersión y munición real. Zaid Alkisia, un palestino de 14 años, murió y cuatro resultaron heridos durante los enfrentamientos.
Naftalí Bennett, ministro de Defensa y representante del gobierno en el entierro, destacó ante los presentes la personalidad del soldado caído que observó por fotos y videos que se viralizaron en Israel. “Estaba lleno de vida, era un joven repleto de sonrisas, de esos que levanta el espíritu de sus compañeros de armas, alguien que sabía que la felicidad era contagiosa”, afirmó.

Desde las FDI manifestaron que durante una operación destinada a detener a sospechosos implicados en actividades terroristas en el campo de refugiados de Al-Fawar, se produjo una reacción muy violenta, cuando terroristas palestinos comenzaron a arrojar piedras, rocas, bombas molotov y explosivos contra los soldados israelíes. El Ejército indicó que también se oyeron disparos de armas de fuego. Combatientes de la unidad de operaciones especiales israelí Duvdevan, que habían ingresado a Al-Fawar para arrestar a un terrorista palestino que estaba preparando un atentado, respondió a los ataques con medios de dispersión y munición real, agregaron desde el Ejército.
