Israel reveló el nombre de su propuesta de vacuna contra COVID-19.
Tras una visita al Instituto de Investigación Biológica de Israel (IIBI) por parte del ministro de Defensa israelí, Benny Gantz, se dio a conocer el nombre de la propuesta de vacuna del laboratorio: Brilife, un acrónimo de la palabra hebrea para salud, Briut, y la palabra en inglés para vida.
Además, como parte de la visita del alto funcionario del gobierno de Israel al IIBI, también se anunció que se comenzará con los ensayos en humanos con la vacuna.
Será a finales de este mes, informó el sitio The Times of Israel.
“Estamos en un momento muy significativo”, dijo Gantz, acompañado por el profesor Shmuel Shapira, jefe del IIBI.
“El profesor Shapira y todo el equipo han hecho un trabajo fantástico», agregó.
«Son la vanguardia científica del Estado de Israel y han llevado esta vacuna a la etapa en la que pronto podremos comenzar los ensayos en seres humanos”, dijo.
