Gabi Ashkenazi, ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Israel, recibió el lunes al primer embajador oficial de Emiratos Árabes Unidos. «Es un día histórico para el Medio Oriente», celebró.

En tanto, después del encuentro entre el canciller y el embajador, se llevará a cabo una primera reunión de trabajo entre el personal de la nueva sede diplomática y el equipo del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores.

Por la tarde, el embajador visitará la residencia la residencia presidencial para la tradicional presentación de las cartas credenciales al presidente Reuven Rivlin. Se estima que el martes Al Khajah y sus asesores llevarán a cabo reuniones de trabajo adicionales en el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores.
