Hanka Dziubas de Grzmot Z»L, sobreviviente de la Shoá y con una historia muy triste, falleció el pasado viernes 7 de mayo.

Nació en 1930 en Polonia y era la menor de siete hermanos. Cuando estalló la guerra, en 1939, vivía en Łódz. En 1940 la obligaron a entrar al gueto y nunca más volvió a ver a su padre. A los 14 años la deportaron a Auschwitz, donde trabajó en la fábrica de municiones.

Ante el avance de los Aliados la transfirieron a Oranienburg, un campo de hombres, y luego a Ravensbrück, un campo de concentración para mujeres, al que llegó enferma y esquelética.

El 30 de abril de 1945 el Ejército Rojo liberó el campo y Hanka fue enviada como refugiada a Suecia, en donde terminó sus estudios. Allí conoció a otro ex prisionero de Auschwitz, León Grzmot, con quien se casó. Ambos llegaron a la Argentina en 1952. Tenía dos hijos y nietos.

Escribió el libro «Noches oscuras y días tristes» y, además, el escritor y guionista Alejandro Parisi contó su historia en «Hanka 753». Participó seis veces del Proyecto Aprendiz, perteneciente al Museo del Holocausto.
