La embajadora de Israel en Argentina se reunió con el intendente de La Plata para promover inversiones en la ciudad

El intendente de La Plata, Julio Garro, recibió a la Embajadora de Israel en Argentina, Galit Ronen. Acordaron vínculos de cooperación para avanzar con proyectos que potencien la llegada de inversiones a la ciudad.

También formalizaron la entrega de mobiliario para el hogar de protección integral “Casa Violeta”.
Durante el cónclave, el Jefe Comunal y la representante diplomática israelí, que visitó La Plata por primera vez, renovaron el pedido de justicia para cada una de las víctimas en el marco del 27º aniversario del atentado a la AMIA.

“En una semana tan especial para nuestra historia como país, recibimos a la Embajadora y conversamos sobre aquél hecho tan doloroso que nos tocó atravesar”. Así lo manifestó el intendente Garro.
Y agregó: “Pero también dialogamos sobre el futuro que queremos construir por el bien de la sociedad. La importancia de las inversiones privadas para el crecimiento de la ciudad y el trabajo en conjunto de todas las fuerzas y comunidades para salir adelante”.

Entre los temas abordados, Garro agradeció a la Embajadora la entrega de electrodomésticos y de mobiliario destinado a la “Casa Violeta”, un espacio que la Municipalidad creó especialmente para alojar y resguardar a mujeres víctimas de violencia de género junto a sus hijos.

Conjuntamente, las autoridades acordaron vínculos de cooperación tendientes a generar la llegada de inversiones productivas a la ciudad; al tiempo que promoverán el intercambio de conocimiento para avanzar en el desarrollo tecnológico e industrial.

Por su parte, la embajadora Galit Ronen resaltó “la relevancia de incrementar los vínculos de cooperación con el Municipio en diversas materias entre las cuales destacaron la ciberseguridad, disciplina que tiene en Israel, específicamente en Beer Sheva, ciudad hermana de La Plata, un centro de desarrollo tecnológico”.
“Además, con el Intendente Julio Garro acordamos poner el foco en el intercambio académico y en la generación de trabajo conjunto en materia de energía renovable”, expresó la diplomática.

De este modo, las autoridades también intercambiaron experiencias en la gestión de la pandemia por COVID-19, abordando principalmente la prevención ante las nuevas cepas; mientras que compartieron las políticas de sustentabilidad que llevan adelante la Ciudad de La Plata y el Estado de Israel.

Durante el encuentro estuvieron presentes el Diputado Provincial, Daniel Lipovetzky; la Asesora en Relaciones Internacionales e Institucionales del Municipio, Rosario Castagnet; el Secretario de Salud local, Enrique Rifourcat; y el Concejal de La Plata, Javier Mor Roig.
