El intendente de Pinamar Martín Yeza, inauguró junto al embajador de Israel en Argentina, Eyal Sela, el presidente del KKL Argentina, Danny Lew y autoridades de AMIA y FACCMA y vecinos de la comunidad, La Plaza Estado de Israel en esta ciudad.
Además del embajador y el intendente y el presidente del KKL Argentina, organización propulsora de la plantación de árboles, acompañaron Esteban Bluvol presidente de FACCMA, Gabriel Gorenstein, secretario general de AMIA y el Rabino de la Comunidad Judaica, Adrián Fada, quien realizó la bendición. También se encontraban presentes, además de los dirigentes y profesionales del KKL Argentina, autoridades de FACCMA, ya que el próximo 24 de noviembre comenzarán los Juegos Macabeos para Adultos en esta ciudad.
Los himnos del Estado de Israel (Hatikva) y argentino fueron ejecutados por la Orquesta Municipal de Pinamar y el Coro de Adultos Municipal de Pinamar.
Entre sus grandes logros, el KKL plantó más de 250 millones de árboles y construyó 240 reservorios de agua. Estos se utilizan para la agricultura del Estado de Israel
En el marco del Día Internacional de La Paz esta inauguración se sumó a las 10 plazas ya inauguradas. El concepto de «Plaza Estado de Israel» es el encuentro de dos culturas, dos naciones, dos pueblos que se encuentran en un espacio que los integra y vincula a través del tiempo y la distancia
Danny Lew le agradeció a Martín Yeza y a los vecinos de Pinamar «Sumamos una nueva Plaza Estado de Israel para disfrutar y compartir en comunidad».
El embajador Sela expresó que «El KKL es reconocido por su constante labor ambiental al plantar árboles.
Esta iniciativa contribuye a la preservación del entorno, garantizando que las futuras generaciones dispongan de un espacio natural vital. Este lugar es un símbolo permanente de la estrecha relación entre Argentina e Israel.
Por su parte , el intendente Yeza afirmó «En estos años consolidamos un vínculo institucional, cultural y de afecto con la comunidad mediante los Juegos Macabeos».
