Para que el antisemitismo sea realmente condenado, una de las grandes esferas donde se lo debe combatir es en la Justicia. Por eso, el Congreso Judío Latinoamericano (CJL) y la Asociación de Fiscales y Funcionarios de la Justicia Nacional (AFFUN) dieron comienzo a un curso intensivo sobre antisemitismo, orientado a fiscales y funcionarios judiciales de todo el país. Esta iniciativa busca brindar a los participantes herramientas y conocimientos fundamentales sobre la historia, evolución y manifestaciones actuales del antisemitismo, así como el marco jurídico para combatirlo desde el ámbito judicial.

Claudio Epelman, director ejecutivo del CJL, comentó: “El antisemitismo debe combatirse en múltiples frentes, y uno de los más cruciales es el de la justicia. Una justicia capacitada en comprender el antisemitismo es una justicia verdaderamente preparada para combatirlo”.

El curso, que comenzó el 12 de noviembre, incluirá la participación de expertos en historia, derecho, y relaciones internacionales, además de representantes del Museo del Holocausto. A lo largo de sus sesiones virtuales, los participantes explorarán temas como el antisemitismo histórico y actual, el impacto del antisionismo, el auge del antisemitismo en internet, y los desafíos que enfrenta el Estado en la prevención de la discriminación.

Por su parte, el presidente de AFFUN, Ricardo Rafael Toranzos, añadió: “Esta colaboración con el CJL nos brinda la oportunidad de ofrecer una capacitación especializada que refuerza el compromiso de la Justicia en la prevención y combate de la discriminación”.

Con esta iniciativa, el CJL y AFFUN refuerzan su compromiso con la educación y el combate del antisemitismo, promoviendo un Poder Judicial más informado y capacitado para enfrentar esta problemática.
