Tailandia manifestó su decepción por el regreso de los combates en Gaza y pidió la liberación de los secuestrados.

También la familia de Sudthisak Rinthalak recibió la información en mayo de 2024 que asesinaron el 7 de octubre al trabajador tailandés del kibutz Be’eri.
En enero de este año, cinco tailandeses que estaban en cautiverio de Hamás fueron liberados: Thenna Pongsak, de 36 años, Sathian Suwannakham, de 35, Sriaoun Watchara, de 33, Seathao Bannawat, de 27, y Rumnao Surasak, de 32, fueron liberados de su cautiverio en Gaza.
