El partido Azul y Blanco anunció que la rotación o alternancia que fue proclamada entre Gantz y Yair Laip no tiene vigencia para la oposición, sino solamente en el caso de que esta alianza hubiera triunfado y formado el Gobierno. Por lo tanto, no está previsto que Lapid sea designado jefe de la oposición dentro de dos años y medio.
