Los familiares de las víctimas del atentado a la AMIA y el Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires organizaron una función especial en el Teatro Colón por el 20 º aniversario del ataque a la mutual judía, que se produjo el 18 de julio de 1994. El homenaje contó con la presencia de periodistas, políticos, líderes religiosos y familiares de víctimas y sobrevivientes.
El acto que comenzó con la presentación de la periodista, Magdalena Ruiz Guiñazu, que leyó una emotiva presentación. Luego Silvia Averbuch, Dora Band, Ana María Czyzewski, Sofía Guterman y Monica Kleiman leyeron las 85 personas que fallecieron en el ataque terrorista que golpeó a toda la sociedad Argentina, tras lo cual se realizó un minuto de silencio que finalizó con un cerrado y profundo aplauso por parte de todos los presentes.
Lo más destacado de este homenaje fue la presentación artística que estuvo a cargo de la Camerata Bariloche bajo la dirección de Fredy Varela Montero.Interpretaron el Adagio y Fuga en Do menor de Mozart, y luego ejecutaron el Concierto para oboe, orquesta de cuerdas y continúo en Re menor de Antonio Vivaldi. Tras esta interpretación se produjo un intervalo de quince minutos, y continuó con un variado programa en el que ejecutaron obras de Johann Bach, Max Brunch y Edward Elgar. Para finalizar le dieron un toque distintivo tocando «Adiós Nonino» de Astor Piazzolla con el arreglo de Fernando Hasaj, y terminaron el concierto con Fuga y Misterio con el arreglo de José Brogato. La función por parte de la Camerata Bariloche fue ovacionado durante un largo tiempo por el público, y la orquesta tuvo que volver a presentarse en el escenario para recibir el cariño.
«Dejaste tu sol en mi destino,tu ardor sin miedo, tu credo de amor y ese afán, ay…!. Tu afán, por sembrar de esperanza el camino», pareciera que una parte de la letra de Adiós Nonino hablará de las 85 víctimas que murieron injustamente y que dejaron en sus familiares un vacío que aún hoy no lo pueden superar. La gala de esta noche estuvo cargada de una energía luminosa, como sí ellos, estuvieran presentes, escuchando a la Camerata Bariloche tocando esos acordes tan mágicos de Piazzolla y aplaudiendo sin parar.
¿Cuanto hemos cambiado en 20 años?….Solo la impunidad se mantuvo inalterable.
