Una exposición que recorre la Segunda Guerra Mundial en un museo de Berlín reconstuye en tamaño original el búnker de Adolf Hitler donde se suicidó al ingerir cianuro, el 30 de abril de 1945.
Además de la recreación del estudio de Hitler en el que se puede ver su escritorio con diarios de la época, un tanque de oxígeno y un retrato de Federico II, la organización ofrece una maqueta en el que se puede ver la estructura original del verdadero búnker del Hitler.
El refugio del líder nazi continúa siendo hasta la actualidad un misterio por haber quedado sepultado entre escombros, luego de que los rusos demolieran los edificios de la zona en la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
El búnker fue construido entre 1943 y 1944 en los jardines de la Nueva Cancillería del Reich, muy cerca de la emblemática Puerta de Brandenburgo, y medía unos 2.700 metros cuadrados y tenía treinta habitaciones.
Su localización era estratégica por estar rodeada de la mayoría de los edificios de gobierno de la época en los que existían numerosos pasajes subterráneos unidos entre sí y otros búnker más pequeños.
«No queremos hacer ningún show de Hitler», declaró Wieland Giebel de la Asociación Historiale, responsable del Berlin Story Museum ubicado en un antiguo búnker en la estación de tren Anhalter Bahnhof, en el centro de la capital alemana, consignó la agencia DPA.
El centro de documentación Topografía del Terror, encargado de analizar los crímenes nazis, criticó la muestra en Berlín.
