El Ejército de Defensa de Israel atacó y destruyó con éxito dos sofisticadas lanzadoras de cohetes en la Franja de Gaza. Esto sucedió luego que se registraron dos ataques con proyectiles de mortero por parte de terroristas palestinos desde la Franja de Gaza.
El ataque por parte de terroristas palestinos se realizó cuando los uniformados se encontraban patrullando Khan Yunes. Según informaron fuentes de Tzahal no hubo heridos ni daños materiales por el ataque.
Tras este nuevo lanzamiento de cohetes desde Gaza, la Fuerza Aérea incursionó en Gaza como represalia destruyendo las lanzadoras se encontraban empotradas bajo tierra en la zona norte de Gaza.
