«No se puede atentar contra la libertad científica», aseguró el ministro alemán de Educación y Ciencias, Ludwig Spaenle. A su vez, explicó que el Instituto «puede publicar una edición» bajo «su propia responsabilidad».
El libro fue escrito por Adolf Hitler mientras estuvo preso entre 1924 y 1925.
