El director ejecutivo de la Delegación de Asociaciones Israelitas Argentinas, Victor Garelik, se encuentra en la ciudad de Nueva York, desarrollando una agenda en entidades judías de los Estados Unidos.
En la Claims Conference, organización de la cual la DAIA integra su Board, Garelik participa de su Board anual de directores. Allí se discuten políticas para cada uno de las comunidades judías de más de 50 países.
En ese marco, el dirigente comunitario se reunió con el director, Greg Schnaider con quien dialogó acerca del trabajo que se realiza en Argentina. Asimismo, Garelik mantuvo un encuentro con la Anti Defamation League, donde se trazaron proyectos en común en la misión compartida de luchar contra toda forma de discriminación. Recibió a Garelik, Sonia Spar, responsable de las comunidades judías de América Latina.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found
a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She placed the
shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
