–¿Qué opinión tiene respecto del discurso de Cristina en la ONU?
– Es un lamentable discurso que ofreció la presidenta de La Nación respecto del acuerdo con Irán y a la crítica con la comunidad judía. Me hubiese gustado una salutación por año nuevo en lugar de la crítica que realizó a las instituciones centrales. No hay antecedentes en la vida Argentina de una crítica tan dura de un presidente hacía la comunidad judía y mucho menos desde el foro en donde se realizó.
-¿Porqué cree que hizo más hincapié en cuestionar a los dirigentes comunitarios en vez de marcar que el Memorándum con Irán quedó en la nada?
– A mi me parece que es muy lógico que la comunidad judía se oponga a ese nefasto y desgraciado acuerdo que tanto daño hizo a la comunidad y a la investigación del atentado. Las únicas dos personas que sostienen el memorándum con Irán, que ha fracasado y ha sido declarado inconstitucional, son la presidenta y el Canciller argentino, Héctor Timerman.
-Teniendo en cuenta que usted fue presidente de la DAIA ¿Le dolió las declaraciones de la presidenta?
– Me duele muchísimo como argentino, como judío y como ex presidente de la DAIA, y acompaño a toda la dirigencia actual en su noble crítica a ese engendro que fue el pacto con Irán.
-¿Qué cree que deberían hacer los dirigentes comunitarios con respecto al discurso de Cristina Kirchner?
– En primer lugar responderle, y segundo denunciar ante nuestros pares internacionales que en la Argentina hay una presidenta de La Nación que desde las Naciones Unidas usó el espacio, nada menos que el día de Rosh Hashaná, para criticar a la comunidad judía. Es lamentable. Tenemos un arraigo importante en nuestro querido país para tolerar que un máximo mandatario de un país utilice los medios internacionales para criticarlo.
