El movimiento Al Fatah del presidente palestino Mahmoud Abbas responsabilizó este viernes a su rival islamista Hamas de los atentados contra las casas de varios dirigentes de su partido en la franja de Gaza.
«El Comité Central de Fatah condena los crímenes cometidos esta mañana contra sus directivos y atribuye la responsabilidad a Hamas», afirmó un miembro de Al Fatah, Naser al Qidwa, en rueda de prensa en Ramala, en la Cisjordania ocupada.
Distintas viviendas y vehículos de miembros del movimiento palestino Al Fatah en la Franja de Gaza fueron blanco de al menos 10 explosiones, según varios testigos y un periodista de la AFP.
Por el momento no se tiene constancia de heridos. Se desconoce el motivo de las explosiones, que fueron condenadas por Al Fatah del presidente palestino Mahmoud Abbas y por el movimiento islamista Hamas, al frente del territorio.
Como consecuencia de estas explosiones, el primer ministro palestino, Rami Hamdalá, anuló una visita prevista el sábado a la Franja de Gaza, donde debía reunirse con la nueva jefa de la diplomacia europea, Federica Mogherini.
Las explosiones ocurrieron en un intervalo de varias horas, antes de las 6:30 locales. Una de ellas se produjo en un estrado colocado en el oeste de Gaza con motivo del décimo aniversario de la muerte de Yaser Arafat, principal fundador de Al Fatah.
Es la primera vez en años que el aniversario de la muerte de Arafat se celebrará públicamente en la Franja de Gaza, un territorio del que Hamas expulsó a Al Fatah en 2007.
Hamas cedió teóricamente su poder en Gaza a raíz de la formación el 2 de junio de un gobierno de personalidades independientes, tras reconciliarse con Al Fatah.
