En el auditorio de la comunidad Bnei Tikva se llevó a cabo la presentación oficial de la coalición de organizaciones comunitarias judías liderada por Julio Schlosser que competirá el próximo 19 de noviembre en las elecciones de la Delegación de Asociaciones Israelitas Argentina (DAIA) contra la lista de Ariel Cohen Sabban.
Con la presencia de representantes de distintas comunidades y del expresidente de AMIA, Guillermo Borger. En la primera parte, Ricardo Furman, candidato a secretario general, realizó una presentación en el que plantearon tres puntos centrales: el análisis sobre qué DAIA recibieron, qué hicieron para mejorarla y cuáles van a ser los próximos objetivos que se planteará esta agrupación en caso de conseguir los votos necesarios de las instituciones afiliadas y las filiales del interior.
Entre los puntos más salientes de la DAIA que quiere el «Nuevo Modelo Comunitario» está el de ser inclusiva, independiente, federal, sustentable y moderna. Cada punto fue desarrollado con algunos objetivos puntuales. Luego, tomó la palabra Sergio Pikholtz, candidato a pro-secretario 1º, quien destacó que la coalición de organizaciones que formaron no es personalista y que «el espectro general de nuestra lista está representando toda la comunidad judía». Con respecto a la mediatización que tuvo la DAIA en estos últimos tiempos, enfatizó: «La DAIA no tiene que salir todos los días en los medios de comunicación». Referido a esto, Jorge Knoblovits, candidato a vicepresidente 1º aseguró: «La DAIA se ha transformado en los pasillos de Tribunales».
Por último, Julio Schlosser expresó que «este proyecto tiene mucho que aportarle a la sociedad argentina y a la comunidad». Por eso instó a que los presentes vayan a buscar los votos necesarios para que el 19 de noviembre el Nuevo Modelo Comunitario sea el elegido por las instituciones.
Para finalizar se abrió a un espacio a preguntas que fueron respondidas por los integrantes de la lista.
