La Federación Sefardí de la República Argentina (FESERA) junto con la Embajada de Israel en Argentina organizaron ayer el acto por el Día de la Conmemoración de la salida y expulsión de los judíos de los países árabes e Irán en la sede de la institución sefardí con la presencia especial de la ministra de Cultura y Deporte del Estado de Israel, Miri Regev.
El acto comenzó retrasado debido a la gran congestión de tránsito que se vivió ayer en Capital Federal, por el último acto de la ex presidenta de la Nación, Cristina Kirchner. El presidente de FESERA, Osvaldo Sultani fue el encargado de hacer una presentación formal acto, y recalcó: «Este acto es muy sentido para cumplir con un deber de conmemorar, todos los años, de acuerdo a cómo está estipulado por el Parlamento de Israel que se recuerde está expulsión y salida voluntaria, pero forzada, de los judíos de los países árabes».
A continuación tomó la palabra Robert Lewy, que padeció en carne propia, la persecución en el Líbano. Toda la comunidad judía libanesa debió afrontar un clima de persecución y terror que «precipitó la huida de los judíos libaneses». «Antes de que se produzca la persecución la comunidad judía tenía muy buena relación con los ciudadanos del Líbano. Pero hacía 1967 nos obligaron a abandonar nuestros lugares de trabajo, el Templo y otros lugares que frecuentábamos».
Para finalizar el acto tomó la palabra la ministra de Cultura y Deporte de Israel que vino a la Argentina para la asunción de Mauricio Macri, hoy. La ministra se explayó acerca de la relevancia histórica que tiene conmemorar esta fecha. Por último se encendió la cuarta vela de Janucá.
En el acto estuvieron presentes el presidente de FESERA, Osvaldo Sultani; la ministra israelí de Cultura y Deporte, Miri Regev; el director adjunto para América Latina del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Israel, Modi Efreim; la embajadora del Estado de Israel en Argentina, Dorit Shavit y Dovrat Zilberstein, agregada cultural de la Embajada de Israel
Con respecto a los dirigentes comunitarios fueron Danny Lew, presidente de la OSA acompañado por los vicepresidentes Marta Lerman y Víctor Zajdenberg, y varios miembros de la Comisión Directiva; Adolfo Filarent, presidente del KKL de Argentina; Gustavo Sakkal y Manuel Kobrynec, presidente y secretario general del Museo del Holocausto de Buenos Aires; Nicole Kovalivker y Amalia Polack, presidente y presidente honoraria de OSFA-WIZO; Marcelo Man, en representación de la DAIA; José Hercman, Nestor Zadof y el Rabino Daniel Ofer.
