Un folleto titulado «De las normas del creador sobre capturar prisioneros y la esclavitud» establece leyes para esclavizar mujeres de «infieles» vencidos. El documento de octubre de 2014 busca asentar sus bases en la ley islámica.
Citando al profeta Mahoma, el folleto pide amabilidad y crueldad para los reos por parte de los combatientes del Estado Islámico. Las mujeres esclavizadas no deberían ser separadas de sus hijos, dice, pero las normas también permiten a los combatientes tener relaciones sexuales con las esclavas.
Tamimi, del Middle East Forum, dijo que las fetuas buscaban reforzar la reivindicación de ISIS de que es un Estado legítimo.
Las normas no se aplican sólo a territorio conquistado en Irak y Siria, sino a las provincias autodeclaradas en África, el Sinaí y Asia del Sur. Cubren asuntos incluso mundanos.
En los documentos hay una norma con el procedimiento adecuado para rellenar los datos personales de los futuros combatientes: nombre, género y medio de contacto –teléfono, telegrama, Skype o el servicio de mensajería móvil WhatsApp.
