Uruguay fue uno de los países que más rápido se hicieron eco. El sitio del diario El País destacó la medida que adoptó la jueza, que la deja afuera de la causa.
Similar fue el enfoque que le dio el diario El Mundo, en España. El País, en tanto, subrayó el peso que tuvo el testimonio del ex agente de la ex SIDE Antonio Stiuso para lo que definió como un «giro» en el caso.
En Reino Unido, The Guardian recalcó que ahora la Justicia tratará la muerte de Nisman como una investigación como homicidio.
El diario israelí Haaretz también le dio espacio al tema. E hizo hincapié en la declaración de Stiuso como factor determinante para la decisión de Palmaghini.
