En cumplimiento con el fallo de la jueza Dra. María Isabel Di Filippo, a cargo del Juzgado Civil Nº 58 de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, que dispuso esta tarde la suspensión de las elecciones convocadas para este domingo 17 de abril, AMIA informa que los comicios han sido suspendidos y que se apelará la decisión ante la Justicia.
Por ser absolutamente falsos e injuriosos, AMIA rechaza todos y cada uno de los argumentos esgrimidos en la denuncia presentada por sólo seis asociados, y lamenta profundamente que se haya recurrido, con una virulencia inédita y preocupante, al vil recurso de las calumnias para tratar de dañar el capital más importante que tiene la institución que es su prestigio.
AMIA se ha visto obligada a dar cumplimiento a esta resolución, de la cual fue notificada en el día de hoy, en horas previas al comienzo del Shabat. La medida resultó extraña e insólitamente sorpresiva dado que la propia jueza, 24 horas antes, había rechazado la misma petición por no haber encontrado elementos que justificaran la suspensión.
Es importante destacar que la entidad ha cumplido con el desarrollo del proceso y cronograma electoral de manera transparente y democrática. Cada una de las acciones que ha efectuado en ese sentido, se han ajustado estrictamente a las normas establecidas por el estatuto social y por las leyes vigentes aplicables, sin que se hayan producido anomalías ni irregularidades de ninguna índole.
La trayectoria y reputación de una organización intachable fundada hace 122 años es la que hoy tratan de dañar quienes prefirieron adoptar la vía de las falsas denuncias y las acusaciones sin sustento.
AMIA apelará el fallo y recurrirá a cada acción prevista en la Justicia para hacer valer sus fundamentos, y los valores que han guiado siempre la actitud recta y ejemplar de la organización.
