El jueves 24 de noviembre en horas del mediodía en el piso 26 del edificio del Banco Galicia, en plena city porteña, para que los galardonados de las provincias, que fueron recomendados por las DAIA´s del interior reciban su premio por ser promotores del Holocausto en las diferentes instituciones y escuelas/universidades del país.
Con una vista privilegiada de toda la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, el evento contó con la presencia de Sergio Grinenco, presidente del Banco Galicia y parte de la comisión directiva que integra el banco, y además estuvo presente gran parte de los directivos de la DAIA junto a Alfredo Neuburger, asesor político de la representación política de la comunidad judía.
El presidente del banco brindó unas palabras en la que destacó el «verdadero compromiso de la sociedad» con relación a divulgar la temática del Holocausto. Luego, el presidente de la DAIA, Ariel Cohen Sabban contó que era un día muy especial por que hace siete años atrás, cuando él era tesorero de la institución que hoy preside, surgió la idea en conjunto con el banco de realizar este reconocimiento a a las personas, que en forma desinteresada, construyen una sociedad con valores.
Los galardonados fueron: Gabriel Anmuth, de Bahía Blanca; Alejandro Fruncieri, de Concordia; Jorge Barbará, de Córdoba; Ricardo Veira, de Misiones; Sebastián Soso, de Rosario; Cintia Vaisman Brailovsky, de Santa Fe; y Saada Betolila, de San Luis. Además entre los presentes estuvo Julio Schlosser, expresidente de la DAIA; Daniel Pérez del área de discriminación de la Policía Federaly la secretaria de Culto y de Pueblos Originarios de Tierra del Fuego, Verónica Peralta.
