En el marco de una gira regional que está llevando adelante el canciller de la Autoridad Palestina, Riad Malki mantuvo un encuentro con su homólogo, Jorge Faurie e hicieron una repaso de la agenda bilateral entre ambos países, según se detalló en un boletín de prensa difundido por el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores Argentinos.
Durante el encuentro «expresaron la voluntad de Argentina de mantener la cooperación bilateral en materia agrícola-ganadera, técnica, deporte, de salud y humanitaria». El canciller Faurie ratificó su «compromiso de contribuir con el desarrollo del pueblo palestino a través su colaboración en el marco de la iniciativa de Cascos Blancos».
Por último, según lo que menciona el comunicado de prensa, ambos cancilleres hablaron sobre el conflicto palestino-israelí y las «iniciativas a reencauzar el proceso de negociación» con el Estado de Israel.
