Un tribunal israelí condenó a Dareen Tatour, poeta palestina, a cinco meses de prisión tras ser declarada culpable de incitación a la violencia en sus escritos y publicaciones en redes sociales durante una ola de violencia entre israelíes y palestinos.
El Tribunal de Magistrados de Nazareth también le dio a Tatour un período adicional de seis meses en suspensión. Debido al tiempo ya cumplido, se espera que pase dos meses más tras las rejas.

Un video que acompaña la lectura del poema «Resiste mi pueblo, resiste», subido a YouTube por Tatour en octubre de 2015 en el momento álgido de una ola de ataques palestinos contra israelíes, muestra a palestinos enmascarados atacando a soldados israelíes con piedras y hondas.
Israel afirma que el estallido de ataques de dos años, que comenzó en 2015, fue impulsado por la propagación de la incitación palestina en las redes sociales.
