Consternación y enérgico repudio de la AMIA ante este ataque antisemita
Comunicado de la AMIA
Con profunda preocupación, AMIA lamenta y repudia enérgicamente el violento asalto sufrido esta madrugada por el Gran Rabino Gabriel Davidovich, quien fue golpeado y atacado salvajemente por un grupo de desconocidos que entraron en su vivienda, ubicada en el barrio de Once.
Los delincuentes que ingresaron a las 2 de la mañana a su casa, le gritaron antes de golpearlo: “Sabemos que sos el Rabino de AMIA”.
Con extrema consternación, la institución exige el inmediato y total esclarecimiento del hecho, y manifiesta su profunda intranquilidad por las expresiones que los delincuentes vertieron antes de atacar al Gran Rabino, que constituyen –sin duda- un motivo de alarma.
El Rabino Davidovich, que tiene a su cargo el Superior Rabinato de la AMIA, sufrió graves heridas producto de los fuertes golpes recibidos. Se encuentra en un centro médico de la ciudad, donde tuvo asistencia inmediata, y permanece internado.
En el momento del ataque, el Gran Rabino estaba en compañía de su mujer, quien fue reducida por los delincuentes, que sustrajeron del lugar dinero y pertenencias. La denuncia fue radicada en la Comisaría Nº 3.
AMIA acompaña al Rabino Davidovich y a su familia en este difícil momento, y hace votos por su pronta y favorable recuperación. Asimismo, reitera su pedido a las autoridades correspondientes para lograr un rápido y total esclarecimiento del ataque perpetrado.
SUPERIOR RABINATO
Desde 2013, el Rabino Davidovich es el máximo representante del Superior Rabinato, que funciona en el 8º piso del edificio de AMIA, en Pasteur 633.
A su cargo, el Rabino Davidovich se ocupa de velar por el cumplimiento en la vida comunitaria, de las leyes vinculadas con temas religiosos, según establece la Torá y la Halajá. Prestar asistencia, asesoramiento e información sobre temas religiosos de toda índole y certificación documental para diversos trámites forma parte de la tarea que se realiza.
