Karen Nisnik se presenta en la Sala Sirhan el próximo 22 de Agosto con su nueva creación, «Una vida cantada», la historia de una mujer judía en la Argentina. Una obra en la que recorre por medio de melodías, imágenes y monólogos, su historia con la música, desde sus comienzos con la liturgia, la música judía, el idish, y años más tarde al incursionar en el tango y la música popular.
Por medio de este espectáculo musical, Karen Nisnik nos cuenta cómo salió al afuera desde aquel “mundillo judío” en el que desarrolló toda su carrera, siendo apodada “La reina de las sinagogas” tras 28 años cantando en distintas Sinagogas y fiestas de la Comunidad, haciendo innumerables shows en Argentina y en el exterior.
El desafío de ser Mujer, Judía y Argentina, todo eso a la vez.
Conjugando las raíces de su pueblo con la Argentinidad que vive en ella, «Una vida cantada» nos promete un encuentro a pura emoción, donde su historia puede ser también la tuya, y la de muchos que al igual que Karen Nisnik viven entre dos identidades, con mandatos, tradiciones familiares, arraigos y desarraigos, sueños y desconciertos, momentos de desazón y otros de regocijo.
Una obra musical donde se abren interrogantes y donde el desafío es seguir los sueños (Karen deja la profesión de abogada para dedicarse a la música) y buscar aquello que nos hace felices como modo de vida.
