Sergio Pikholtz: «La Organización Sionista Argentina está definitivamente encaminada»

El 28 de abril se realizó por primera vez en 72 años el acto de Iom Haatzmaut en forma virtual. La Organización Sionista Argentina (OSA) fue la encargada de organizarlo y su presidente, Sergio Pikholtz, quien dialogó en forma exclusiva con Vis á Vis, encabezó este enorme desafío que tuvo una amplia repercusión mundial y que ya lo vieron casi 30 mil personas.

Pikholtz se expresó sobre el cambio de paradigmas a partir de la cuarentena, las elecciones en la AMIA, el Congreso Sionista y un resumen de su gestión a tres años de haber asumido.

  • ¿Cuales son las sensaciones que te quedaron luego del acto de Iom Haatzmaut?

Satisfacción por sobre todas las cosas. Es un enorme desafío llevar adelante cada año la celebración de Iom Haatzmaut, y con el equipo de la OSA ponemos todo para cumplir con las expectativas. En esta oportunidad, con el agregado de no poder vivirlo en comunidad como siempre fue. Al terminar la transmisión mi sensación fue de enorme alegría porque creo que pudimos transmitir claramente la alegría y la fiesta sin golpes bajos, con hadar (orgullo) sionista, con participación de músicos, rabinos, líderes comunitarios, gente de la cultura y personas de todas las kehilot del país que mandaron sus videos. Te digo la verdad, me emocioné fuertemente sólo en mi casa frente al televisor, con el teléfono explotado de mensajes de alegría. Hubiera querido que no termine la transmisión.

  • ¿Cuanta gente lo vio?

Durante la transmisión hubo 3.700 accesos a la plataforma, calculando entre dos y tres usuarios lo vieron en directo entre 8.000 y 10.000 personas. A las 23 horas del mismo día ya teníamos más de 12.000 reproducciones, y el fin de semana posterior alcanzamos las 29.000 proyecciones. Un récord absoluto para una fiesta de Iom Haatzmaut. Necesitaríamos un estadio de fútbol para esa gente. El Movistar Arena, donde lo íbamos a hacer, entran unas 12.000 personas y es el estadio cubierto más grande la Argentina.

  • ¿Como se logró la canción con artistas y referentes comunitarios?

Junto con Flor Yadid y Maxi Bartfeld, los directores artísticos del evento, apenas supimos que sería imposible hacer algo presencial nos pusimos a pensar en la versión virtual de la fiesta. De ellos fue la idea de invitar a los músicos y demás participantes de todo el país para Shevet Ajim ve ajaiot, convocándolos a que se sumaran a la propuesta. Luego la magia de nuestro editor Leandro Comisarenco hizo el resto en un trabajo fantástico. Pensemos en la complejidad de unificar videos de 60 celulares, imaginemos juntos a los participantes más sofisticados con equipos profesionales de audio y video, y también a quienes apoyaron su teléfono en una biblioteca sostenido por libros y buscando el mejor plano. Es impresionante el resultado final y creo que no nos merecíamos menos que eso.

  • ¿Creés que se viene un cambio de paradigma después de la crisis por el coronavirus?

No creo que las sociedades y sus paradigmas cambien por el efecto de la pandemia y el encierro. Sí creo que las personas podemos cambiar. Si las personas cambiamos y establecemos nuevos paradigmas para nuestras propias vidas habremos realizado un gran aporte. Mi pregunta recurrente es ¿para qué? ¿Para qué ha sucedido esta tragedia? No tengo clara la respuesta aún, pero sí tengo claro que algo debo hacer para que, a pesar de la angustia, del dolor por los que no pudieron superar el momento y partieron prematuramente, lo vivido se convierta en enseñanza y aprendizaje. Y no creo que podamos eludir esa responsabilidad individual escondidos en ese mar inacabable que llamamos sociedad. Nuestra comunidad se verá fuertemente afectada después de esto, y es deber de quienes la lideramos ser creativos, tener la cabeza abierta y actuar generosamente para que el impacto sea lo más leve posible.

  • ¿Habrá un nuevo modelo de comunicación, eventos y reuniones o se volverá al de siempre?

Considero que se han instalado cambios que serán permanentes en el tiempo, con adaptaciones. Pero si algo ha quedado claro es que somos capaces de generar una enorme cantidad de actividades comunitarias, y que participa más gente que en el modelo presencial. De todos modos creo que seguramente habrá un mix de opciones de actividades entre el viejo modelo y la modalidad virtual.

  • Junto a la Organización Sionista Mundial se han realizado también conferencias y charlas. ¿Se seguirá de esa manera?

Seguiremos en esa línea con nuestros socios de la Organización Sionista Mundial, con todos los departamentos en general y especialmente con el departamento de Promoción de la Aliá y con el departamento para la Diáspora. Con ellos extendemos nuestras fronteras más allá de la Argentina, también en sociedad con las demás federaciones sionistas del resto del subcontinente.

  • ¿Hay alguna novedad sobre la realización del Congreso Sionista?

Por ahora se mantiene el cronograma original y se llevará a cabo a fines del mes de octubre. Sabemos que se están analizando alternativas de realización virtual con participación a distancia de los delegados. Pero no hay nada concreto aún al respecto.

  • ¿Y sobre las elecciones de la AMIA?

Luego de la postergación por el coronavirus creo que hay que ocuparse prioritariamente de las necesidades de los miembros de la comunidad y las instituciones que enfrentan y enfrentarán una crisis inusitada en los próximos meses. La AMIA es la organización de la comunidad número uno en asistencia social y debe hacer su trabajo con tranquilidad. Ya vamos a tener tiempo de hacer un nuevo llamado a elecciones. Como dije anteriormente, creo que sólo las personas podemos cambiar, y con nuestro cambio movilizar una sociedad distinta. No me escucharán en este momento hablar a las apuradas de las elecciones ni intentar politizar cuestiones de esta triste coyuntura. Desde el primer día de la cuarentena me he puesto a disposición del presidente de AMIA para lo que pueda resultar de utilidad, al igual que hemos puesto a disposición en el mismo sentido a la Organización Sionista Argentina.

  • ¿Qué análisis hacés desde tu llegada a la OSA hasta ahora?

Llegamos con la premisa de recuperar la OSA para la comunidad, recuperarla económicamente, recuperarla en contenidos y actividades sionistas, de hazbará y de transmisión de contenidos para el incentivo de la Aliá. Tres años y medio más tarde podemos decir con el consejo directivo que hemos cumplido con muchos de nuestros objetivos y que tantos otros están pendientes, pero la federación está definitivamente encaminada. Más de 50 actividades sionistas por año, cinco seminarios de hasbará para jóvenes con más de 100 participantes en total, cientos de ulpanim de hebreo y la conformación del Comité Federal que llevó decenas de actividades a todo el país son la muestra de un trabajo en positivo. Esperamos que nuestra gestión haya servido a la comunidad.

  • ¿Cómo transcurren tus días en cuarentena?

Estoy dentro de un grupo que por su actividad laboral sale a trabajar todos los días. Poder trabajar es una bendición que en estos momentos aprendemos a valorar doblemente. Por otra parte, yo mismo participo de múltiples actividades comunitarias y sigo teniendo encuentros virtuales con mis compañeros de comisión directiva y de la OSM. Y por supuesto este también es un buen momento para leer y hablar con amigos, cosa que sucede menos en épocas normales por la falta de tiempo.
