Ante versiones que indicaban que la Organización Sionista Argentina (OSA) había emitido un comunicado en el que confirmaba la elección de Gabriel Gorenstein como nuevo presidente, la Federación desmintió los rumores.
A través de un comunicado, desde la entidad manifestaron: «El comité directivo de la Organización Sionista Argentina desmiente categóricamente haber emitido un comunicado referente a la elección de nuevas autoridades. La información oficial de la OSA se brinda a través de los canales de la Federación».

A su vez, en la última Asamblea se solicitó un cuarto intermedio hasta el 12 de noviembre.
Hasta el momento, Mario Sobol, Pablo Soskin y Gabriel Gorenstein manifestaron su candidatura a la presidencia de la institución.
Actualmente, la comisión directiva de la OSA está encabezada por Sergio Pikholtz como presidente, Demián Stratievsky como vicepresidente 1°, Ariel Gueiser como vicepresidente 2°, Eva Starowiejski como vicepresidente 3° y Pablo Soskin como vicepresidente 4°. La Secretaria General, por su parte, es Sandra Sztatman.
