El Consejo de Seguridad Nacional de emitió este jueves una advertencia sobre los países en donde se teme que Irán atente contra israelíes. Se mencionan a varios estados de Asia y cercanos al territorio de Irán. Esto es luego de las amenazas del régimen de Teherán contra Jerusalén tras el asesinato del científico nuclear iraní Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
La advertencia, de acuerdo con la autoridad israelí, es “a la luz de las recientes amenazas lanzadas por autoridades iraníes y a la luz de la participación de estas en ataques terroristas en el pasado”, informó el sitio Walla! News.
Irán culpó a Israel de ser el responsable del asesinato del considerado “padre” del programa nuclear militar iraní. A su vez, prometió cobrar venganza, algo que el periódico The New York Times reportó el mismo día de los hechos el pasado viernes.
Los países que el Consejo de Seguridad Nacional de Israel enlistó son: Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Georgia, Azerbaiyán, Turquía, Baréin, la región del Kurdistán en Irak, sin descartar el resto del Medio Oriente y el continente africano.
El Consejo de Seguridad Nacional de Israel mantiene el temor de que Irán pueda perpetrar atentados contra objetivos israelíes en estos países informó Enlace Judío.
La advertencia llegó unos días después de que el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Israel se comunicó con las embajadas a nivel mundial. Les pidió que se mantengan alertas. También solicitó que extremen precauciones con motivo de las amenazas de Irán. Un día después del asesinato, un reporte indicó que algunas comunidades judías también habrían elevado su seguridad.

La autoridad indicó que otras organizaciones terroristas, como ISIS, podrían también llevar a cabo ataques contra israelíes y judíos. Esto es en vista de los recientes atentados en Francia y Austria, sin conexión al asunto de Mohsen Fakhrizadeh,
Ante ello, el gobierno israelí advirtió a sus ciudadanos que planean viajar al extranjero que tengan cautela. Solicitó que sigan todas las pautas de seguridad de las autoridades locales y eviten áreas concurridas. Esto es porque se considera que la próxima etapa navideña podría ser atractiva para nuevos ataques terroristas.
Según Walla! News, se estima que miles de israelíes planean pasar las vacaciones decembrinas de Janucá en Emiratos Árabes Unidos. Esto es porque el país recientemente forjó lazos con Israel y se ha impulsado el turismo israelí hacia su territorio.
Esta semana partió el primer vuelo comercial desde Israel hacia Dubái y en las próximas semanas se esperan cientos de vuelos adicionales.
Altos funcionarios tanto de Emiratos como de Baréin afirmaron que las dos naciones condenaron vehementemente el asesinato de Mohsen Fakhrizadeh. Fue con el fin de distanciarse del tema y evitar que Irán intente alguna represalia en su contra por su nueva cercanía a Israel.
