La democracia como sistema político ha entrado en barrena en una espiral sobre si misma que le conducirá irremediablemente a estrellarse contra el duro suelo de la realidad.
Los sistemas democráticos en general adolecen de una debilidad básica que empieza por sus pies y no tanto por su teórico discurso intelectual. En la cabeza de la democracia está contenido todo el saber y el buen hacer. Para conducir a una sociedad en la correcta dirección del bienestar que todos anhelamos, pero sus pies no la llevan por buen camino.
La teoría democrática por muy excelente que sea o parezca está tropezando continuamente y aunque se levanta vez tras vez de las heridas que se van produciendo están empezando a gangrenar sus extremidades superiores e inferiores.
Los brazos de la ley democrática son inservibles cuando no imponen su fuerza para detener a los terroristas urbanos que en muchos casos la misma democracia los define como jóvenes alborotadores, tribus urbanas e incluso en algunos casos como luchadores por la libertad de expresión.

En países como España la democracia está siendo debilitada desde el mismo gobierno que dice defenderla. Una democracia que está en peligro de convertirse en una dictadura que vergonzosamente se define, a sí misma, como democracia al estilo de Venezuela, Rusia o China por citar algunos ejemplos por todos conocidos.
La amenaza más dañina a la democracia viene desde sus mismas entrañas. Como en el ya mencionado caso español donde los gobernantes elegidos democráticamente atacan a los poderes que conforman el estado y defienden a los terroristas urbanos que están asolando este país en el nombre de la libertad de expresión.

La democracia en Israel está claramente asentada en la conciencia de la mayoría de los ciudadanos de todo el estado. Una democracia a la que no le tiemblan las manos para luchar en continua guerra contra el terrorismo. El que pretende destruir al mencionado estado de Israel, sus instituciones, cultura y religión. El ataque continuo al que se ve sometida toda la sociedad israelí con un terrorismo urbano, nacional e internacional en su contra. Lejos de debilitar la democracia israelí la refuerza y la hace más innovadora en todos los campos.
La inteligencia israelí en el sentido más amplio de la palabra inteligencia está en la cabeza, en el cuerpo y en el resto de las extremidades que llevan al país en la dirección correcta. Con los métodos democráticos apropiados a las necesidades de cada momento.
Una democracia que defiende a sus cuerpos de seguridad con un amplio sistema judicial que los protege y cuida. Las democracias que no defienden a sus fuerzas de seguridad se atacan así mismas al debilitar el cuerpo que protege a toda la sociedad.
La seguridad de estar respaldados y el visible despliegue de fuerza hace que los terroristas teman su intervención.
Toda justicia tiene su tiempo. Aunque pueda parecer lenta siempre ejecuta la sentencia en el momento oportuno. Los ataques terroristas en Israel tienen diversas respuestas por medio del estado democrático. Van entre otras a la destrucción de las casas donde vivían los terroristas. ¿Acaso la respuesta democrática tiene que ser una timorata crítica y condena sin más?. La debilidad de las democracias occidentales les ciega para que no ejecuten las sentencias que el poder judicial democráticamente dicta para defender a sus ciudadanos.

La policía y el ejército democrático junto con el resto de las instituciones que componen las fuerzas de seguridad de un país, como es el caso de Israel, tienen que estar bien pertrechadas con todos los medios modernos para defender la democracia e imponer el llamado imperio de la ley. La policía y el ejercito deben de estar bien equipados y formados para defenderse con la misma capacidad que defienden a sus ciudadanos. Solo unas fuerzas de seguridad motivadas a servir en la democracia con plenos deberes y derechos hará que la democracia sea fuerte, valiente y respetada. La democracia en Israel es un ejemplo internacional que debe ser tenido en cuenta por las debilitadas democracias liberales.
La democracia liberal es el único sistema político que subvenciona a sus enemigos, desde adentro de sus mismas instituciones, para que la destruya y aniquile. Una democracia que no utiliza todos los medios que tiene para defenderse así misma de los ataques internos y externos está condenada a caer de rodillas frente a sus enemigos para ser rematada en tierra.
La diferencia entre un soldado israelí y un terrorista, como ya todos sabemos, es que el soldado de Israel siempre se pone enfrente de sus ciudadanos para defenderlos. Los cobardes terroristas siempre se ponen detrás de las mujeres y los niños para usarlos como escudos humanos. La misma diferencia existe entre una democracia liberal y la democracia en Israel. Donde se defiende la vida de sus ciudadanos con todos los medios. Con toda la fuerza de la ley y con unos cuerpos de seguridad, policía y ejército, con firme mentalidad democrática. La que hace temblar a sus envenenados detractores. La victoria frente a los enemigos de la democracia no es una opción sino un deber que está por encima de toda otra consideración.
