Descubrieron una Torá de 2.500 años dentro de un auto en Turquía

Las fuerzas de seguridad turcas incautaron el viernes (26 de marzo) una Torá de 2.000 a 2.500 años de antigüedad con una inscripción dorada en la provincia de Samsun, al norte del país.

Siguiendo una pista, las brigadas policiales detuvieron dos coches sospechosos y encontraron el manuscrito, dijeron las fuentes. Pidieron no ser nombradas debido a las restricciones para hablar con los medios de comunicación.

En un vídeo del incidente se puede ver a la policía rebuscando en las mochilas del maletero del coche de los sospechosos. El antiguo artefacto estaba simplemente envuelto en una bolsa de plástico metida en los bolsillos de una bolsa de tela casi vacía.

A continuación, se puede ver a la policía sacando la Torá de 2.500 años dorada de la bolsa de plástico con las manos enguantadas, antes de sacarla de la antigua caja protectora. Se muestran las páginas en las que están escritas inscripciones antiguas.

Cinco personas fueron detenidas, añadió la fuente.

El incidente se produce poco después de que se verificara la existencia de pergaminos bíblicos de fecha similar.
